I have written about trust many times in my blogs. I have written how trust is always a choice and many times is not easy. Well, I find myself making the choice again. And it is not easy because everything within me wants to doubt and worry. Andrea & I are entering a new chapter in our lives as we prepare for our new little life. Today I find myself overwhelmed but I am making the choice to trust totally in God. There is nothing that happens in our lives that doesn’t pass through our Lord’s hands first. Andrea & I are so excited but we are totally overwhelmed at times. I know that is natural and we don’t feel as prepared for this new chapter in our lives as we might have thought but we are still looking forward to our new life none the less and we know God has everything in His control.
So today I will:
Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
